Documentary project: The Life of Martha Hill (working title) The feature-length film, produced by the Martha Hill Dance Fund, explores Martha Hill’s life-long dedication to revolutionizing dance education and her struggle to solidify Modern Dance as a legitimate art form. An elegant and provocative portrait of the career and vision that played an immense and integral role in the inception and development of the American Modern Dance movement, the film furthers our mission of honoring, perpetuating, and rewarding Martha Hill’s commitment to dance education and performance internationally.
